A community of families living as God intended -- to their full potential.
The Victory Train of Greene County is a collaboration among service organizations, schools, churches, businesses and governmental entities, working together to link and align efforts to create a continuous pathway of mentoring and educational opportunities for children and their parents, beginning at birth and following them all the way into adulthood, leading them onto a successful pathway in life.
Key Differentials that are critical to the overall success of the Victory Train Initiative. If any one of these is missing, the initiative will not succeed to full potential:
Womb to adulthood continuum pipeline, creating a pathway of mentoring and educational opportunities, with no gaps.
Addressing all areas of need including:
Material/Physical - (Income, housing, transportation, health etc.)
Social - (Emotional, network, relationships, support groups etc.)
Dual generational approach, focusing on both parent and child.
Collective impact – Collaborating with other organizations/programs to develop the continuum pathway of support.
Take to scale – Reaching 65% of children, young adults and their parents in Greene County
Outcomes and results driven. Identify most important outcomes we want to achieve, and work backwards to create programs and opportunities to reach these outcomes. Focus on continuing improvement and monitoring results to improve future outcomes.
Transformational – Making a significant impact in the life of each person we serve so that we become a community of families living as God intended, to our full potential.
